PI6 QuickTip #7: Two-Color Effect

This clever new feature in PhotoImpact 6 make it simple to create custom duotones which lend drama to images.

I'll be using this True Color image to show how to change an image to only two colors.

Choose Effect, Special, Two-Color to open the Two-Color dialog box. Click in the rainbow color box to choose the two colors. I wanted a sepia look for this image, so I selected a very dark brown and a rosy beige color.

Here's the results of these values.

Try other more unconventional color combinations as well. Here's the dialog box with blues selected.
